Hey Folks



The new music video is Grace Like Rain by Todd Agnew over there on the video bar. God cares about what comes out of our mouths a lot and here is some Biblical proof of what He likes to hear and what He doesn't:

You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vein; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vein. Exodus 20:7

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:4

The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity; there is none who does good. Psalm 53:1

Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise! Psalm 66:1

For I was envious of the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For they have no pangs until death; their bodies are fat and sleek. They are not in trouble as others are; they are not stricken like the rest of mankind. Therefore pride is their necklace; violence covers them as a garment. Their eyes swell out through fatness; their hearts overflow with follies. They scoff and speak with malice; loftily they threaten oppression. They set their mouths against the heavens, and their tongue struts through the earth. Psalm 73:3-9

Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy. Psalm 101:5

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain in your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God" Acts 5:3-4

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those that hear. Ephesians 4:29

Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. Ephesians 5:4

Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices. Colossians 3:9

Remind them of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers. 2 Timothy 2:14

If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 1 John 1:6
