Christmas Trees

I think I'm getting rid of the little thing in the beginning where I address everyone. I'm running out of ways to say hello...lol. Yesterday, I helped out with Christmas trees at CLC. Sam Hoffman was wearing no jacket and he said he wasn't cold. My parents decided we should stay home today because the roads had ice on it in Westminster. I felt bad that I couldn't help with Christmas trees after church today. I really missed CLC. When I miss a service, I feel like there's a big hole inside. In gym at my school, we're playing basketball which is really fun. Watch the the top pane on the video bar.

Boomin'

Hello fellow sheep of God who is our Shepherd,

God brings great things out of tough circumstances. I got a 94% on my History test today and last Friday I got an 89% on my Algebra 2 test. :) The new music vid is Live Out Loud by Steven Curtis Chapman. I really like the journal about the general information about each book of the Bible. I find it very effective and I enjoy doing it on my own. BTW, go to Youtube and type in "City On Our Knees tobymac" it's his new single and more girls might like it because it's a little more laid back in style.

Lion and the Lamb

Hey All

I was thinking about when people describe Jesus as the Lion and the Lamb. He's a lion because He's all powerful, the leader of the pack, the commander, He helps us kill sin and protects us from temptation when we seek Him, and He is all knowing. He's also the lamb because He made the ultimate sacrifice so we could be cleansed of our sins and go to Heaven. What a perfect balance.

A Thinker

Welcome to a new post,

My new music video is Prayer For a Friend by Casting Crowns. I wrote an essay on my favorite book which is the Bible and so I thought you all might be interested...

My favorite book is the Bible. It's God's Word. The Bible is the best selling book of all time. Reading isn't one of my favorite hobbies, but the Bible is a book that keeps you in suspense, like what's going to happen next. The Bible reveals that God's son, Jesus Christ died on the cross to take or absorb God's wrath so that we can be forgiven of all our sins and pave the way to Heaven. On our part, we need to ask for forgiveness of our sins and commit our lives to God. I like this as a supporting verse to also committing our lives to Him: 1 John 2:4-5 (ESV) says: (Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:) Even after we have converted, the Bible shows us ways that we can grow more Christ-like and also it points out what is sin so we can know what we're doing wrong and repent from them. God tells us in the Bible that He will never leave us nor forsake us and that God unconditionally loves us no matter how many times we mess up. The bottom line is that the Bible is what God uses to tell the Gospel and He commands us to not hide in a hole, but tell others about the Gospel so they may have new life in Him and the Bible is the guide for life. It doesn't have all the answers to all of our questions, but the Bible should have a huge effect on what decisions we make day in and day out.

1st Day of School

Yo God's Children

School's back for me. As I was working today, I realized that even though my curriculum is tough, there's no point in complaining about it, so I'm going to give it all I got for the glory of God. There's a lot of times where we don't understand why God put's us in the set of circumstances that He does, but God turns trials into something good. So, we need to keep trusting in God in the good and the rough times.

A Thought

Hello there

Sunday is coming up soon and I feel that the Lord wants to remind us this in regards to sermons. James 1:22 says But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Here's a little taste of Worthy 09. This is a true story.

August 19, 2009

At ministry night, when the prayer was getting more intense and people crying, I had a picture in my mind of long path with a light at the end and I saw that the Lord was using the new Christians through the gifts they received and they would stop on the path to use their gifts and then continue their journey.

Worthy!

By the way, I made a NFL Street 2 team composed of CLC pastors and here's 2 pictures I took of gameplay.

Pastor Dave Brewer sacks and crushes Quarterback Kurt Warner. Pastor Brian Chesemore catches the football in mid-air between the legs.

Worthy 09 starts on Monday. :D So, it took me a couple days, but I made a Worthy theme song. The new music video is Speaking Louder Than Before by Jeremy Camp (the third panel down). Here's the lyrics for my Worthy theme song:

Worthy

(Verse 1)
People are growing in God
He guides them with His staff and rod
They're having fellowship with their friends
And at sermon time; smoke is coming from their pens

(Chorus)
You're what we're living for
All of us and what we have is Your's
We'll wait for the Lord
Then like eagles we'll soar
and for You we'll roar!

(Verse 2)
On Ministry night; God's doing some life transformation
Starting some spiritual acceleration
Turning trips to Hell into a cancellation
And now Heaven is their final destination

(Chorus 2x)
You're what we're living for
All of us and what we have is Your's
We'll wait for the Lord
Then like eagles we'll soar
and for You we'll roar!
