Christmas Trees

I think I'm getting rid of the little thing in the beginning where I address everyone. I'm running out of ways to say hello...lol. Yesterday, I helped out with Christmas trees at CLC. Sam Hoffman was wearing no jacket and he said he wasn't cold. My parents decided we should stay home today because the roads had ice on it in Westminster. I felt bad that I couldn't help with Christmas trees after church today. I really missed CLC. When I miss a service, I feel like there's a big hole inside. In gym at my school, we're playing basketball which is really fun. Watch the the top pane on the video bar.

Boomin'

Hello fellow sheep of God who is our Shepherd,

God brings great things out of tough circumstances. I got a 94% on my History test today and last Friday I got an 89% on my Algebra 2 test. :) The new music vid is Live Out Loud by Steven Curtis Chapman. I really like the journal about the general information about each book of the Bible. I find it very effective and I enjoy doing it on my own. BTW, go to Youtube and type in "City On Our Knees tobymac" it's his new single and more girls might like it because it's a little more laid back in style.

Lion and the Lamb

Hey All

I was thinking about when people describe Jesus as the Lion and the Lamb. He's a lion because He's all powerful, the leader of the pack, the commander, He helps us kill sin and protects us from temptation when we seek Him, and He is all knowing. He's also the lamb because He made the ultimate sacrifice so we could be cleansed of our sins and go to Heaven. What a perfect balance.

A Thinker

Welcome to a new post,

My new music video is Prayer For a Friend by Casting Crowns. I wrote an essay on my favorite book which is the Bible and so I thought you all might be interested...

My favorite book is the Bible. It's God's Word. The Bible is the best selling book of all time. Reading isn't one of my favorite hobbies, but the Bible is a book that keeps you in suspense, like what's going to happen next. The Bible reveals that God's son, Jesus Christ died on the cross to take or absorb God's wrath so that we can be forgiven of all our sins and pave the way to Heaven. On our part, we need to ask for forgiveness of our sins and commit our lives to God. I like this as a supporting verse to also committing our lives to Him: 1 John 2:4-5 (ESV) says: (Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:) Even after we have converted, the Bible shows us ways that we can grow more Christ-like and also it points out what is sin so we can know what we're doing wrong and repent from them. God tells us in the Bible that He will never leave us nor forsake us and that God unconditionally loves us no matter how many times we mess up. The bottom line is that the Bible is what God uses to tell the Gospel and He commands us to not hide in a hole, but tell others about the Gospel so they may have new life in Him and the Bible is the guide for life. It doesn't have all the answers to all of our questions, but the Bible should have a huge effect on what decisions we make day in and day out.

1st Day of School

Yo God's Children

School's back for me. As I was working today, I realized that even though my curriculum is tough, there's no point in complaining about it, so I'm going to give it all I got for the glory of God. There's a lot of times where we don't understand why God put's us in the set of circumstances that He does, but God turns trials into something good. So, we need to keep trusting in God in the good and the rough times.

A Thought

Hello there

Sunday is coming up soon and I feel that the Lord wants to remind us this in regards to sermons. James 1:22 says But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Here's a little taste of Worthy 09. This is a true story.

August 19, 2009

At ministry night, when the prayer was getting more intense and people crying, I had a picture in my mind of long path with a light at the end and I saw that the Lord was using the new Christians through the gifts they received and they would stop on the path to use their gifts and then continue their journey.

Worthy!

By the way, I made a NFL Street 2 team composed of CLC pastors and here's 2 pictures I took of gameplay.

Pastor Dave Brewer sacks and crushes Quarterback Kurt Warner. Pastor Brian Chesemore catches the football in mid-air between the legs.

Worthy 09 starts on Monday. :D So, it took me a couple days, but I made a Worthy theme song. The new music video is Speaking Louder Than Before by Jeremy Camp (the third panel down). Here's the lyrics for my Worthy theme song:

Worthy

(Verse 1)
People are growing in God
He guides them with His staff and rod
They're having fellowship with their friends
And at sermon time; smoke is coming from their pens

(Chorus)
You're what we're living for
All of us and what we have is Your's
We'll wait for the Lord
Then like eagles we'll soar
and for You we'll roar!

(Verse 2)
On Ministry night; God's doing some life transformation
Starting some spiritual acceleration
Turning trips to Hell into a cancellation
And now Heaven is their final destination

(Chorus 2x)
You're what we're living for
All of us and what we have is Your's
We'll wait for the Lord
Then like eagles we'll soar
and for You we'll roar!

Hello...Hello...Hello......Hello!

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen

The reason I keep writing more Christian Rap songs is that I feel writing it is a talent that God has given me and even though I don't play an instrument, this is a way I can still further His Kingdom. So, I finished another song. Here it is:

Jesus: The Only Way

(Verse 1)
We are God's creation
So go out to the nations
Telling people face-to-face
of Jesus' love and grace

(Chorus)
Everywhere I go
And everywhere I stay
To the Lord Jesus I will pray

(Verse 2)
I would've fell
into the black hole of Hell
But He died for my sin
So there was the hope
I grabbed onto the rope
And put my trust in Christ
Now, I'm going to Heaven

(Verse 3)
I see the great work of His Hands
Creating the world in days, only seven
I put my house on the foundation of Jesus who's my rock
Rather than the sand
That washes away
And leads me astray

(Chorus 2x)
Everywhere I go
And everywhere I stay
To the Lord Jesus I will pray

Talk

Hey Folks

The new music video is Grace Like Rain by Todd Agnew over there on the video bar. God cares about what comes out of our mouths a lot and here is some Biblical proof of what He likes to hear and what He doesn't:

You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vein; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vein. Exodus 20:7

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:4

The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity; there is none who does good. Psalm 53:1

Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise! Psalm 66:1

For I was envious of the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For they have no pangs until death; their bodies are fat and sleek. They are not in trouble as others are; they are not stricken like the rest of mankind. Therefore pride is their necklace; violence covers them as a garment. Their eyes swell out through fatness; their hearts overflow with follies. They scoff and speak with malice; loftily they threaten oppression. They set their mouths against the heavens, and their tongue struts through the earth. Psalm 73:3-9

Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy. Psalm 101:5

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain in your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God" Acts 5:3-4

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those that hear. Ephesians 4:29

Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. Ephesians 5:4

Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices. Colossians 3:9

Remind them of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers. 2 Timothy 2:14

If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 1 John 1:6

Clarification

Hey All

So, the purpose of the first 2 lines of Sin Crusher was to describe a setting. A person has all their items in their cart in the line at the register, and there's tabloids there of course. Well, that's why you look at the floor and not open sin's door because the tabloids open up a door for sin so it's best not to look at them at all. I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me. A perverse heart shall be far from me; it shall not cling to me -------Psalm 101:3-4

More Christian Rap

This is my latest Christian Rap song I wrote:

Sin Crusher

(Verse 1)
Gonna purchase your groceries
Standing in line at the store
But you gotta remember
To look at the floor
And not open sin's door

(Chorus)
Shut down your temptation
Then reject the flesh temptation
Remember Christ's donation
Of Himself on the cross
He defeated death and sin
He proved who's the boss

(Verse 2)
Jesus is the King and master
Don't indulge in sin
It's a big old disaster
Pray to the Lord and fast
Instead of getting cars that are faster and faster
And pistols to blast
'Cause Jesus really satisfies
and He's the only one who really lasts

(Chorus 2x)
Shut down your temptation
Then reject the flesh sensation
Remember Christ's donation
of Himself on the cross
He defeated death and sin
He proved who's the boss

God is Awesome

Hey People

I finished my song; "Garage Church" I'll post the lyrics on my next post to see what y'all think of it. Here's the big thing. I wrote the following on April 30. A couple of months ago I had prayed that God would show me a sign so I'd know He was there. Last night, Wednesday, April 29, 2009; I had a dream that I was just sitting on my bed and there came in my room furiously and violently a demon possessed person and through God I cast the demon out of the person. Then, there was a bunch of black smoke and the person fell on the floor unconscious. Next, another demon possessed person came in the same way and through God, I had cast out another demon and the person fell unconscious on the floor again. Finally, I went to the floor and shook the people on the floor to see if they were still alive and I woke up. end I think that this was a vision from God.

What I'm Thinkin'

What's going down people,

I've got this strong feeling that in the church there are young people that feel lonely or left out and they don't know where to turn. The Bible has an answer. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? ----Psalm 27:1 The Lord is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed. -----Psalm 28:8

Good Friday

Hi Earthlings

I had a good time at my friend Caleb's house. Today, I went to Weis to do grocery shopping. I put up a new video bar so you can watch any Youtube videos that I put up for my media recommendation right from my blog. My media recommendation is Joyful Noise by Flame. featuring Lecrae and John Reilly. The music video is the third video down. For good sound and lyrics click on the fourth video down. Please watch one of these videos. These guys are passionate about what they do and put their heart and soul into the song between the music, vocals, and lyrics. Today we thank Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. I thank Jesus for all my family, Christian friends, and everything else I've been given. I vow to continue working for Him for the rest of my life.

Got It Done

Hey all

I made this document which I have finally finished and are releasing on my blog.  To all you young people, don't think just because you're not an adult you can't make an impact.  I'm only fourteen, a freshman; I don't get to Care Group because of too much homework, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop representing for Jesus.  Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity---1 Timothy 4:12  So, please read it, I know it's kind of long but it's worth it.  Please comment and tell me what you think.  Also, tell your Christian buddies about it too.  ----Paul

Paul Brown

This is a resource for witnessing Christians so they can be prepared when non-Christians ask them questions about what the Bible says, on certain issues. Now remember, when you answer some of their questions, do it in a kind and loving away. I've worked hard at this for a long time so I hope you enjoy. God speaks through His word.

What are some of God's commandments about talking?

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29 (ESV)

Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. Ephesians 5:4 (ESV)

What does God say about gossip?

A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends. Proverbs 16:28 (ESV)

What does God say about arguing?

Remind them of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers. 2 Timothy 2:14 (ESV)

What does God say about anger?

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Ephesians 4:31 (ESV)

What does God do in times of trials?

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7 (ESV)

fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous hand. Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 (ESV)

What does God say about laziness?

A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. Proverbs 10:4 (ESV)

What does God say about homosexuality?

If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. Leviticus 20:13 (ESV)

What does God say about marriage?

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. Hebrews 13:4 (ESV)

What does God say about drinking?

And do not get drunk on wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. Ephesians 5:18-21 (ESV)

What does God say about gambling?

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man to do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6 (ESV)

What does God say about tattoos?

You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:28 (ESV)

Does God expect us to be perfect?

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23 (ESV)

How does God love us?

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 (ESV)

What makes each of us unique?

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27 (ESV)

Why does God like us?

who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began, 2 Timothy 1:9 (ESV)

What has Jesus gone through?

And he was in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild animals, and the angels were ministering to him. Mark 1:13 (ESV)

Then he released Barabbas, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified.  Matthew 26:27 (ESV)

Why should I become a Christian?

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. John 5:24 (ESV)

How is God our guide?

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV)

Finally Friday

Hey all peoples, well at least you people who understand English

So it's Friday, and guess what, there's homework over the weekend too.  I love Fridays though, because I don't have to do any homework on Friday.  The most random and funny thing that happened today was that my sister said at dinner she wouldn't want to be a zoo animal, then again there was me jumping in the paper recycling dumpster so the wind wouldn't blow the pieces of paper away when i dumped it in.  Luckily, when i jumped out and shut the lid I didn't shut myself inside the dumpster.  Then my sister, Lauren tryed to put the recycle bin on my head, but I threw my arms back toward her and the bin ended up hitting her in the head.  I got a hair cut today.  My media reccomendation is Song of Hope (Heaven Come Down) by Robbie Seay Band.  The link is http://www.last.fm/music/Robbie+Seay+Band  Notice the jukebox on the right side of your screen and just click Song of Hope in the jukebox

Interesting

Hey Everyone

I had a great weekend. My grandparents came over for dinner on Saturday night. I played NFL Street 2 in which a found a code that makes all the players supersized. There's this one play called Running Back Bam where the center snaps it to the Running Back and he runs. Well, when I made the players supersized and did that play there was a glitch where the center would snap it way over the Running Back's head but somehow its not a fumble, just a backwards incomplete pass...odd. I saw this one bird that kept flying into my Dad's truck this morning and I couted that it flew into the truck seventy times until Dicey finally chased it away.

I Need To Keep Up With Posts

Hey Everybody

If anybody wants to find out about a new Christian Rapper, just ask me.  I've been working on a document that answers questions non-believers might have about Christianity.  I use Bible verses to answer the questions.  For all you soccer fans, I got something for you all.  We play this kind of soccer where we just kick from the opposite sides of a cage since there's multiple soccer balls. So there's this basketball hoop on the side my friend Tommy and I kick toward.  So first he kicks the ball and hits the backboard, it comes back so I kick it and it hits the backboard and then he kicked it and he hit the backboard for the third time (Note: we kicked the ball from the ground all three times, we did NOT punt it) and then I kicked the ball for a goal.  So, to me that was better than anything that's in FIFA Street.  Also, my media reccomendation is that people watch all three Left Behind movies.  My friend gave me a nickname! Raven's Game

Hey Everyone

About the Ravens game, the Steelers beat the Ravens.  The Ravens lost because the offensive gameplan totally stunk, Joe Flacco threw two critical interceptions, the offense did not capitalize with points when the defense caused turnovers.  I'm not whining, I'm going to tell you the facts, the Steelers beat the Ravens fair and square.
The officials made a dumb call, in the rules there is a rule called roughing the kicker, where the punter punts the ball and afterwards a player from the opposing team throws a cheap shot, shoves, or tackles the punter.  Well, the Steelers punted and afterwards a Ravens player fell down, and the punter happened to bring his kicking foot accidentily on the Ravens player.  They gave the Ravens the penalty which gave the Steelers fifteen yards of progress and a first down.  Also, the Steelers safety Ryan Clark laid a helmet to helmet hit on Willis McGahee which is illegal and McGahee was carted off the field.
The announcers for CBS were Phil Simms and Jim Nantz who were biased against the Ravens like crazy, did not follow the game half the time, and didn't question the referees when they made a questionable call.  Instead, talked about the Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin's mom and shows on CBS.  When the Steelers made a play they praised them like gods, but when the Ravens made a play, they acted like it was a fluke.  Remember, I'm telling the facts of the game.  I'm not angry or upset.

Follow Up

Hey Everyone

I wanted to follow up on Josh's sermon last Sunday with this Christian rap song called Cash or Christ by Trip Lee.  Here's the link.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8N62_nlaKQ  I had a good Christmas and are going to the Cryptology Museum tommorow.  My cousin Bill made me this fancy belt that is so unique I can't really describe it.  I also did a powerpoint on the new MacBook.  Gavin, whenever you plan on buying your next computer, ask me about the MacBook.  With Microsoft the way its going and everyone I know that has Vista have been in a middle of a task and having to restart your whole computer is not fun.  The MacBook might be more expensive but well worth it.  Just with the powerpoint I've done on it.  Its hard to imagine why someone wouldn't use Apple.
