Lion and the Lamb

Hey All

I was thinking about when people describe Jesus as the Lion and the Lamb. He's a lion because He's all powerful, the leader of the pack, the commander, He helps us kill sin and protects us from temptation when we seek Him, and He is all knowing. He's also the lamb because He made the ultimate sacrifice so we could be cleansed of our sins and go to Heaven. What a perfect balance.

Huh. Never noticed that. Very cool! I guess the closest I've gotten to taking note of it is in The Dawn Treader, where Aslan, at the very end of it, is a lamb. And we always think of Him as a lion, but He has that other side to Him as well. Thanks!
